Softball Recap: Oakridge's Victory on Sunday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Oakridge waltzed into their contest on Sunday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the North Farmington Raiders with a sharp 8-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Oakridge's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for North Farmington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Oakridge will host Ludington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Farmington, they will venture away from home to challenge Bloomfield Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
