The Davenport North Wildcats were successful in their previous meeting against the Assumption Knights, and they didn't afford Assumption any payback this time around. The Wildcats enjoyed a cozy 64-47 victory over Assumption on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for Davenport North, who now has ten in a row.
The win bumped Davenport North's record up to 19-3. The Knights' overall record fell to 13-7.
Davenport North will take on Davenport West on Friday. The Wildcats won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. As for Assumption, they will face off against Davenport Central on Thursday. Assumption has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
