Red Cloud gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed past the Lewiston Tigers to the tune of 67-22. With the Warriors ahead 46-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Gage Ely threw for 35 yards and one touchdown. Mason Bolin was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Lewiston dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Cloud will host Diller-Odell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lewiston, they will be playing at home against Meridian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
