South River entered their tilt with Manville on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 17 games by eight runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Reese Rega, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Gabriele Da Silva was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base.

South River's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Manville, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, South River will be playing in front of their home fans against Bound Brook at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Manville, they will challenge Keansburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups.
