Spanish Fork is a perfect 4-0 against Timpview since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Dons are taking a road trip to face off against the Thunderbirds at 3:30 p.m.

Spanish Fork is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since April 29, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Orem by a score of 5-3.

Spanish Fork saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jason Pintar, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Timpview can bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Springville 13-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Thunderbirds have posted since March 10th.

The team relied heavily on Will Cannon, who went 3-for-5 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jordan Christensen, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Timpview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. They got five more hits than Springville's also-impressive total of 13.

Spanish Fork's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Timpview, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 8-15.

Spanish Fork took their victory against Timpview when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
