Meanwhile, Ballard Memorial couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 50-0 heading into the break. Although Mayfield wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 8-0. The loss dropped Ballard Memorial's record to 2-6.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Mayfield take on Webster County at 7:00 PM. As for Ballard Memorial, they will face off against Murray.
