Ava Ellis was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madelyn Hickey, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February. Jordan Kammerer was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double.
Centennial kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive matches.
