The biggest upset of the week belonged to St. John Lutheran, who took down 404th ranked St. John Lutheran, 48-6. Joe Boden threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 160 yards in the win.
Father Lopez moved up to 398 from 436 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A District 3. The Green Wave climbed the ranks as a result of a 48-6 win over the Saints.
Father Lopez's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Isadore Wood helped Father Lopez's passing attack out by catching five balls for 55 yards.
Ryan Mowan was the best wideout in the league this week as Jason Dunlap's team beat St. John Lutheran. Mowan tallied two receptions for 77 yards.
Hogan Wilder made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Green Wave defeated Dennis Meunier's team. The defensive end forced one fumble and racked up 1.5 sacks.
Father Lopez's Boden and Wood have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Boden has thrown for 710 yards this season, while Wood has 13 catches for 204 yards. The Saints' Quandre Woods leads the league in rushing yards with 763.
A big matchup in 2A District 3 this week will be when Trinity Christian Academy takes on the Green Wave. At the moment, the Eagles are in second, while Father Lopez is in fifth.
Florida Air Academy took down Calvary Christian 65-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
