Evergreen will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Eatonville at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Evergreen, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Last Friday, Evergreen couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 0-49 loss at the hands of Zillah.
Meanwhile, Eatonville had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They took a hard 3-23 fall. They were down by 0-23 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous matchup, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
