While losing is never fun, Woodlawn-B.R. can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Catholic-B.R. is ranked 19th).
Woodlawn-B.R. has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Catholic-B.R., the win was the fourth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodlawn-B.R. will square off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Catholic-B.R., they will head out on the road to face off against Scotlandville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Scotlandville comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
