The Westampton Tech Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Mastery Warrior at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westampton Tech is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1 runs per game this season.
Westampton Tech barely beat Moorestown Friends the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Foxes an 11-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Foxes: they've now won six in a row.
Jeret Torres made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Torres was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Wednesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Westampton Tech has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .451. However, it's not like Mastery struggles in that department as they've averaged .461. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Westampton Tech got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Mastery by a conclusive 17-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
