The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Organ Mountain in their matchups with Volcano Vista: they've now lost six in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Organ Mountain lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brandon Kehres. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of YehNhi Wilson, who scored seven points.
Organ Mountain's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Volcano Vista, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Organ Mountain will be playing in front of their home fans against Hope Christian at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Volcano Vista, they will head out on the road to face off against Carlsbad at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
