 Slidell got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Wilbert Ricky Williams out in front who threw for 238 yards and three  TDs on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 66 yards and one  score.  Jakwan Jones was another key back, rushing for 208 yards.
Mandeville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Slidell, their victory was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mandeville will challenge Northshore at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Slidell, they will take on Hammond at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Tornadoes' defense has only allowed 11  points per game  this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
