There's no place like home for Duncan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 18-4 margin over the San Simon Longhorns on Monday. Considering the Wildkats have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Paisley Patton, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-4.

Duncan pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for San Simon, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Duncan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 17-7 loss against Lordsburg on the 8th. As for San Simon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-2 defeat against Superior on the 12th.
