After flying high against Bonneville last Thursday, Roy came back down to earth. The Royals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clearfield Falcons on Tuesday. Clearfield can attribute much of their success to Erin Lowry, who had ten digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Lowry a new career-high. Maggie Borchert also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Roy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Clearfield, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
