Edgar won the last time they faced Merrill and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Bluejays by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

While Edgar might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Merrill scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19.

Kaitlynn Hartnady was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs and four aces. What's more, she posted five assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024. Mallory Stencil also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Edgar's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Merrill, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Edgar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Chippewa Falls on the 13th. As for Merrill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Wausau East on the 13th.
