Two weeks ago, Whitman blew past Churchill, posting a 81-5 victory on the road.
Meanwhile, Walter Johnson lost to South Carroll at home by a decisive 53-34 margin on Saturday.
Despite the defeat, Walter Johnson saw an underclassman step up: Norah Youssef scored 12 points.
Whitman's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Walter Johnson, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.
Whitman came up short against Walter Johnson in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 48-42. Can Whitman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
