Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat. They fell  57-50 to the Reed Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Senators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  51-48  on January 6th.
  Josh Peterson was  his usual excellent self,  going 8 for 18  en route to 28 points and eight  rebounds for Reed. That's the most  boards  Peterson has posted since back in February of 2024.  Xavier Hoffman was another key player,  putting up 12  points.
Carson's record is now 6-17. As for Reed, they moved to 7-15 with that  win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.
 Coincidentally,  both  will both be playing Galena the next time they take the court. Carson will  host Galena at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday, while Reed will head out to face them  at 7:30  p.m.  on February 4th.
