Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Harrison Raiders walked away with it. They blew past the Bronchos 61-35. Given Harrison's advantage  in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings  (they are ranked 142nd, while Lafayette Jefferson is ranked 309th), the result  on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Leading Harrison to victory were  Elsie Ahnert and  Kiersten Guyer.  Ahnert  scored 14 points along with seven  steals, while  Guyer  scored 14 points along with seven  rebounds and six  steals.  Riley Whitlock was another key contributor,  scoring ten points along with six  rebounds and three  steals.
 Despite the  loss, Lafayette Jefferson saw an underclassman step up:  Shaylee Barrett  scored 15 points along with five  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Amani Byrd, who  scored eight points along with six  steals.
 Lafayette Jefferson  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only two  assists. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as Harrison  racked up 14  assists.
 The  win  makes it two in a row for Harrison and  bumps their season record up to 13-12. As for Lafayette Jefferson, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-20.
 Harrison will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against McCutcheon at 7:30  p.m.  on February 3rd. McCutcheon is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.2  points per game this season. Lafayette Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
