Canton pushed their score all the way to 60 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 69-60 to Windsor Locks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Thursday (59), Canton still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Somers came up short against Stafford on Friday and fell 61-53. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Somers came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while Stafford is ranked 141st).
Canton's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Somers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.
