Lawrence won the last time they faced Lowell and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lancers came out on top against the Red Raiders by a score of 8-3. The game was the first time the Lancers have beaten the Red Raiders on their field since April 29, 2022.

The win made it two in a row for Lawrence and bumps their season record up to 9-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Lowell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Coming up, Lawrence is taking a road trip to square off against Chelmsford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Lancers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
