The Southern Alamance Patriots gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They really took it to Graham for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-27 win at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-8.
Morgan Isley was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 17 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Brouillard, who scored 7 points along with 8 assists and 4 steals.
Southern Alamance's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Graham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Alamance will take on Grimsley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Graham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bartlett Yancey at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
