Valor Christian added to the longest winning streak in Freelance this week by beating Eaglecrest, 63-22. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Eagles.
Valor Christian took down the Raptors 63-22 last week, the largest margin of any game. A.J. Cecil threw for 134 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 39 yards during the win.
Rod Sherman's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Christian McCaffrey chipped in 100 yards. Marcus Wilson helped Valor Christian's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 26 yards.
McCaffrey was the best receiver in the league this week as the Eagles bested Eaglecrest. McCaffrey tallied 2 receptions for 66 yards. Wilson helped Valor Christian's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 26 yards.
Valor Christian's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cecil has thrown for 1,491 yards and 24 touchdowns this season, while McCaffrey has 20 catches for 424 yards.
Valor Christian led the league in scoring this week by notching 63 points on Mike Schmitt's team. Cecil ran for 39 yards in the win.
