It was fun while it lasted, but Larned's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Saturday. They took a 44-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holcomb Longhorns. The loss was the Indians' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Larned fell to 3-1. As for Holcomb, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Larned will be home for the holidays to greet St. John on Tuesday. Holcomb and Colby will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
