Twentynine Palms' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ayden O'Gilvie, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. The matchup was O'Gilvie's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Grabow , who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Twentynine Palms' defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for La Quinta, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.
