Oby Came Up Big in Pinkston's 34-26 Win
Starting off the list is Pinkston's Coleman Oby, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Oby rushed for 260 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 15.3 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 95-yard run.
Pinkston's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. Oby's next match is against Roosevelt on Thursday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Tamajae McMillon stepped things up a notch to give Wilmer-Hutchins the 'W'. Nobody could stop McMillon as he rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 310 yards and a touchdown on only ten passes.
Wilmer-Hutchins' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. McMillon and Wilmer-Hutchins will host Kimball at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Jarmon Trotter Sr's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lincoln over Wilmer-Hutchins
While Jarmon Trotter Sr delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Lincoln. Trotter Sr was dynamite, picking up a sack and making 22 total tackles.
This is the second loss in a row for Lincoln and nudges their season record down to 4-3. Trotter Sr and Lincoln will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

Pinkston was led to victory by Tawnerien Williams, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Williams rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.
