It was a good run, but  Wareham unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-match winning streak on Friday. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mashpee Falcons. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won  3-0.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 22-25,  25-14.
Wareham's offense was headlined by  Mackenzie Via-Kashner and  Johnny Tompkins, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from  Olivia LaCava and her 16 assists.  Priscilla Ross controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Wareham's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Mashpee, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-13 record  this season.
As of now, neither Wareham nor Mashpee have any future games scheduled.
