Rockcastle County's and Wolfe County's matchup on Tuesday was close at halftime, but Rockcastle County turned on the heat in the second half with 42 points. Rockcastle County was the clear victor by a 69-45 margin over Wolfe County.
Meanwhile, Mercer County suffered their closest loss since December 15, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Pulaski County by a score of 54-51. Mercer County has not had much luck with Pulaski County recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Rockcastle County's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Mercer County, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-10.
Rockcastle County didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Mercer County in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 69-65 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rockcastle County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
