The Central Valley Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Lassen, falling 57-18. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Central Valley has scored all season.
Vincent Vanpal was Central Valley's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Kanin Harris held things down on the boards with five rebounds. He took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Zach Hart was a one-man wrecking crew for Lassen as he scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Kirack, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds.
Central Valley dropped their record down to 2-18 with that defeat, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lassen, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-9.
Central Valley will be playing at home against Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Anderson is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Lassen, they will head out on the road to square off against University Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. University Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully Lassen likes a good challenge.
