Freeport waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers 16-2. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Ryan Fannin was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Vogler, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Freeport always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Bay Haven Academy only posted an OBP of .357.

Freeport's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Freeport will host Munroe at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 11-1 victory against Malone on the 9th.
