McDougal Dakota and Presley Smith provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Inola. The longest such play in 3A District 6 this season, the connection resulted in 86 yards.
Victory Christian extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Morris, 28-8. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Conquerors.
Kellyville's dynamic duo of Dakota and Smith proved tough for the Longhorns to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dakota threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns and Smith had 190 yards receiving. Myles Chris helped Kellyville's passing attack out by catching three balls for 26 yards.
Guthrie Dean was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 21 carries, he ran for 115 yards as the Eagles fell to Inola. Teammate Tyler Claborn added to the ground attack by rushing for 75 yards.
Victory Christian's Keats Calhoon and Cole Taylor have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 3A District 6 in both passing and receiving yards. Calhoon has thrown for 2190 yards this season, while Taylor has 39 catches for 863 yards. Dean from Morris leads the league in rushing with 1244 yards.
Okmulgee and Perkins-Tryon played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Okmulgee eventually emerging with a 26-20 victory.
