 Lake Central's loss  ended  a  nine-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 1-2. As for Penn,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-0.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Central will face off against Hammond Bishop Noll at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Penn, they will take on Michigan City at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Penn is facing Michigan City at the right time seeing as Michigan City is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
