Baseball Recap: Pallotti Wins Going Away Against Sts. Peter & Paul

Pallotti won the last time they faced Sts. Peter & Paul and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Sabres. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Pallotti let Kevin Wagner-Feick and Gus Chackmakian-Lodge run wild. Wagner-Feick went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Chackmakian-Lodge went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most runs Wagner-Feick has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Steven Buckner, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.

Pallotti was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are 6-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Pallotti back to even at 10-10. As for Sts. Peter & Paul, their loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Coming up, Pallotti will welcome Park School at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bruins have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Sts. Peter & Paul, they will venture away from home to face off against Chapelgate Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sabres are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
