It was a good run, but the Fowler Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 57-47 to Dansville. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fowler in their matchups with Dansville: they've now lost three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dansville to victory, but perhaps none more so than megan zeitz, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. Zeitz is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Ryker Graf, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Fowler's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2. As for Dansville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Fowler will head out on the road to face off against Bath at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bath is on a four-game streak of home wins, Fowler a seven-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Dansville will take on Potterville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Potterville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 492nd, while Dansville is ranked 105th).
