The Twiggs Academy Trojans won the last time they faced the John Hancock Academy Rebels, and things went their way  on Thursday too. Twiggs Academy came out on top against John Hancock Academy by a score of  47-35. That's two games straight that Twiggs Academy has won by exactly 12  points.
 Twiggs Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Raigan Gilbert, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and ten  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  Gilbert  scored 15 or more  points.  Megan Favors was another key contributor,  scoring five points along with ten  assists and five  steals.
 The  win  makes it two in a row for Twiggs Academy and  bumps their season record up to 6-4. As for John Hancock Academy,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-8.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Twiggs Academy will take on Windsor Academy at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. Windsor Academy is hoping to put an end to  a five-game streak of away losses. As for John Hancock Academy, they will be playing at home against Twiggs Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
