It was a good run, but the Balko Bison unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They received a tough blow as they fell 49-32 to Okarche.
Balko's loss came despite strong showings from Emelie Trentham and Estrella Martinez. Trentham scored 9 points along with 3 steals, while Martinez scored 7 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 steals. Trentham is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Balko's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Okarche, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
Balko will square off against Arapaho at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Okarche will be staying on the road on December 15th to face off against Watonga at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th.
