On Tuesday, things could have been worse for Calhoun Christian, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 52-34 loss to Mendon. Calhoun Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mendon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Quincy Blair, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Those three blocks set a new season-high mark for Blair. Ryder Gorham was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Calhoun Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-3. As for Mendon, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calhoun Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Climax-Scotts at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. As for Mendon, they will square off against Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
