Fishburne Military struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Virginia Episcopal School pulled down 17.
It was another big night for Vuk Stanic, who scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals for Virginia Episcopal School. Another player making a difference was Lukas Buinevicius, who scored 12 points.
Fishburne Military bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.7 points per game. As for Virginia Episcopal School, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fishburne Military will square off against Fork Union Military Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Virginia Episcopal School, they will head out on the road to face off against Roanoke Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Roanoke Catholic is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
