Reed Posts Huge Game in 52-6 Win
Starting off the list is Central Christian's Nathan Reed, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Reed threw for 142 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles (2.0 for loss).
The win was the fourth in a row for Central Christian, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Reed's next contest is against Argonia/Attica on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Ry Kooiman Makes It Two for Central Christian
Keeping Reed company is Ry Kooiman, a fellow Central Christian player. He rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Pretty Prairie was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Christian Chandler did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Chandler as he picked up 43 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Pretty Prairie is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5. Chandler and Pretty Prairie will head out to square off against Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jake Hittle Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Jake Hittle of Skyline. Hittle picked up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 50 yards.
Hittle is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Kiowa County on Friday. When Hittle last faced the Mavericks back in October of 2023, he picked up 75 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
