Meanwhile, DSST: Cedar fought the good fight in their overtime game against DSST: Montview on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 79-71 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
DSST: College View will have to contain Semahje Kalanda as he made an impact in DSST: Cedar's last game. He dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Kalanda a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Matt Stophel, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 19 rebounds.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. DSST: College View hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 68.2 points per game. However, it's not like DSST: Cedar struggles in that department as they've been averaging 62 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
