Baseball Recap: Abbott RVT Takes a Loss

Kaynor RVT hit Abbott RVT with a five-run seventh inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolverines fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in April.

Frank Allo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He has become a key player for Abbott RVT: the team is 8-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Almonte, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Abbott RVT has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. As for Kaynor RVT, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
