The Father Capodanno Grunts's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 75-42 loss at the hands of Falcon Christian Academy. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Father Capodanno in their matchups with Falcon Christian Academy: they've now lost four in a row.
Father Capodanno lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sam Attar, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. Attar continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Braedon Hudson, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Father Capodanno's defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-13. As for Falcon Christian Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Father Capodanno and St. Thomas More Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Falcon Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Spirit of Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. Spirit of Life Christian Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
