The American Patriots waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They managed a 57-51 win over Dr. Krop. That's another feather in the cap for American, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead American to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kennith Johnson, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Johnson pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexandre Brigitte, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
American's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Dr. Krop, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
American will be playing at home against JC Bermudez Doral at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. JC Bermudez Doral has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 444 points over their last seven contests. As for Dr. Krop, they will head out on the road to challenge Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
