The Riverdale Ridge Ravens are taking a road trip to face off against the Boulder Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Riverdale Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Riverdale Ridge had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Westminster on Tuesday. The Ravens put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 10-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Ravens in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won three in a row.

Carter Wilkerson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up 15 Ks. He has become a key player for Riverdale Ridge: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise.
At the plate, Jeter McArthur was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Peyton Auen, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Riverdale Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westminster only managed five.
While Boulder didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Prairie View on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. Those three runs were actually the fewest the Panthers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
Kai Paradise looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Sam Skubic, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.
Riverdale Ridge's record now sits at 7-5. As for Boulder, their record is now 7-3.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Riverdale Ridge hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. However, it's not like Boulder struggles in that department as they've averaged .322. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Riverdale Ridge's way against Boulder in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Riverdale Ridge made off with a 9-0 win. Do the Ravens have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
