Miami Valley Christian Academy has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lockland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lions will welcome the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Miami Valley Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
Miami Valley Christian Academy will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against Purcell Marian on Monday. The Lions came out on top against the Cavaliers by a score of 10-5. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won three in a row.

Evan Lafferty made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Miami Valley Christian Academy got a big performance out of Luke Autry, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Autry has posted over his last 13 contests. Gavin French was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Miami Valley Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Purcell Marian only posted a batting average of .258.
Meanwhile, Lockland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 15-4 to Shroder Paideia Academy. On the bright side, the four- run performance marked the Panthers' highest-scoring matchup to date.
Lockland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
Miami Valley Christian Academy took their win against Lockland in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-1 score. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
