Softball Recap: Triton Central Wins Going Away Against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial

Triton Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Indianapolis Scecina Memorial Crusaders on Monday. Considering the Tigers have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Madison Collins was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since May 3rd. Makinah Noel was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Triton Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in three consecutive matches.

Triton Central's victory bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That lines up perfectly with their 4-14 record this season.
