Louisiana School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the N.C. School for the Deaf Bears. One positive for the War Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Louisiana School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 0-24. As for N.C. School for the Deaf, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Louisiana School for the Deaf will challenge Kentucky School for the Deaf at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. N.C. School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
