After flying high against Union Mine  last Friday, Bradshaw Christian came back down to earth. The Pride took  a  28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Liberty Ranch Hawks on Friday. The Pride's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

 Despite the  defeat, Bradshaw Christian had strong showings from  Mason Pisarski, who rushed for 144 yards and two  scores on only 13 carries, and  Devin Hatcher, who rushed for 138 yards and one  TD on only eight carries. With that strong performance,  Hatcher is now averaging an impressive 102  rushing yards per game.
 Liberty Ranch's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Andrew Quinn, who rushed for 134 yards and a pair of  touchdowns. Quinn also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making eight total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defending one pass in addition to snagging  an  interception. Liberty Ranch also got a significant boost from  Joe Lara, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 97 yards.
Bradshaw Christian's  loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Liberty Ranch, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
 Looking ahead, Bradshaw Christian will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Argonaut  at 7:30  p.m. As for Liberty Ranch, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Rosemont  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Wolverines' defense has only allowed 13.9  points per game  this season, so the Hawks' offense will have their work cut out for them.
