The Forest Park Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Michigan (Forest Park is ranked 27th, while Lake Linden-Hubbell is ranked 25th).
Forest Park unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. Their tough 48-24 loss to North Central might stick with them for a while.
Although Forest Park took the loss, they still got scores from Grayson Sundell, Gaven Rintala, and Kevin Giuliani.
Meanwhile, Lake Linden-Hubbell put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They breezed by Ontonagon on the road to the tune of 50-7. Winning may never get old, but Lake Linden-Hubbell sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Forest Park's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Lake Linden-Hubbell, their victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-3.
Forest Park was able to grind out a solid victory over Lake Linden-Hubbell when the teams last played back in September, winning 36-28. Will Forest Park repeat their success, or does Lake Linden-Hubbell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
