The Chester Cyclones suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 64-42 walloping at the hands of Fairfield Central. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Chester has suffered against Fairfield Central since January 15, 2021.
Fairfield Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordyn Adams out in front who scored 26 points along with seven steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Adams has scored at least a third of Fairfield Central's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazzlyn McMillan, who scored 20 points along with nine rebounds.
Chester bumped their record down to 3-8 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road. Chester will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodruff at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairfield Central won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Columbia comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
